Already using Saylo?
Choose Check for Updates from Saylo’s menu-bar menu. You can review the changes before installing. Older builds without an update feed need one manual installation of a configured release.
Test an in-app update
Install the older test build, then choose Check for Updates. It should offer the current beta. Review the release notes and continue through the updater.

Here to help.
Need a hand getting started, or found something that doesn’t work as expected?
info@marloo.netCan I use Saylo on an Intel Mac?
The current Saylo build is for Apple Silicon Macs with an M-series chip, running macOS 14 or later. There is no Intel build at present. Check Apple menu → About This Mac before downloading. See the setup guide.
Is there a purchase or account to set up?
The current testing beta does not require a Saylo account or purchase. The current beta is uncapped. Planned Free and Pro tiers apply after beta; checkout is not active. See the planned CAD pricing before a future paid launch.
Does Saylo upload my voice or text?
Saylo processes speech on your Mac and doesn’t upload microphone audio or dictated text. It has no analytics or account requirement. Model downloads and configured software-update checks use the internet.
Diagnostic exports are saved locally for you to review before sharing. The latest 10 non-secure dictations are kept in memory for recovery and clear when Saylo quits.
Why does Saylo need these permissions?
Microphone access captures your speech. Input Monitoring detects your chosen key. Accessibility inserts text and supports learning from corrections in compatible fields. Saylo’s setup guide opens the relevant areas of System Settings.
Will it type into every app?
App support varies. Live text needs a compatible text field, and some interfaces expose limited accessibility information. If direct delivery isn’t available, use the result card to copy or paste the transcript.
When reporting a problem, include your Saylo version and build, macOS version, chosen key, and the receiving app. Use a sample that doesn’t contain private information.
What if macOS won’t open the beta?
This testing build uses a local signing certificate. It hasn’t been signed with an Apple Developer ID or notarized by Apple, so macOS may block it. Contact support if you need help, or wait for a notarized release. Keep your Mac’s security protections enabled.
How do software updates work?
Saylo checks a public HTTPS release feed and verifies the signature of downloaded update packages. Updates ask for your confirmation. During beta testing, you can also download the newest installer from this page.
The website and app read release information published by Marloo Creative Studio. A source-code change by itself doesn’t publish an app update.
